As many of you know, several of us are running several raids each with our partner guild. We are very happy to have a raiding partnership with them and we're having a blast raiding with them. I know some of you feel left out because you aren't being included in these raids, and I apologize. We are going with another guild (a very large guild at that) and we have no final say on who goes and who doesn't. We do have input though, and we often recommend you guys for raids and get you in when we can. :D
Here are the days and times we raid with them:
Friday around 7:30 server: Wintergrasp, 25 VoA, and 25 OS
There are usually a few spots for these. If you are on early enough and let us know you want to go, we'll do our best to get you in. We can't get you all in, but we'll do what we can.
Saturday at 4:00 server & Sunday at 1:00 server - Ulduar 25
These raids are pretty much full. I can't guarantee a raid spot for any of you. If you already go with us to these raids, you should be getting an in-game invite from the raid organizer. If not, then if someone else doesn't show then we can possible get you in if you are online and ready to go at the start of raid time.
Other than that, we want to start doing some more 10-man stuff with the guild. Red is working on figuring out when the best time for everyone is so please post your raid times in the website forums on send him in game mail with your availability. We can do heroics, 10-man Naxx, 10-man VoA, and 10-man OS. We can pug 25-man OS or Naxx with our alts.
For ANY raids, with us or with our partner guild here are a few guidelines:
1. Be prepared! Be on time, repaired, with all of the foods, flasks, and reagents that you need. Please don't be the mage without reagents for a table or buffs, the warlock without shards to summon, the druid without reagents to battle rez, etc. Have what you need BEFORE raid time. Special note here that Vent is required for all raids. If you don't have it, get it and test it before raid time.
2. Be geared enough for the raid you want to attend or don't go. Ask for (or pug) heroic runs for badges or buy crafted BOE's from the AH to help improve your gear. I'm not saying if you're not geared don't do anything. I'm saying to know what you are capable of. www.wow-heroes.com will show you what instances you should be doing with your current gear. Example: I love my little mage Bellatricks, but I know that between her gear and my fail mage skills, that she isn't geared enough for VoA because her dps isn't high enough for Emalon. I'll keep doing Naxx10, Naxx25, OS10, OS25, and heroics with her until I can get her dps to an acceptable number for VoA.
3. Know the fights! Several boss fight strategies are posted on the forums already. Read those, watch videos, check out wowwiki. There are boss strategies all over the internet and if you don't know where to find them, please ask someone. Tankspot.com is a good place to start.
